National Home Security Month

With the pressures of day-to-day life, home security is often overlooked.

It is estimated that a burglary happens in the UK every 40 seconds, with 40% occurring when a house is empty.

According to a report released last week by the Office for National Statistics, the number of burglaries in England and Wales was up by six per cent in the 12 months up to June 2017!

With this month being National Home Security Month, it’s a good time to reflect on the measures you have in place to keep your house and your loved ones safe.

Making sure the exterior of your home is properly secured is very important – especially so with the clocks changing at the end of the month, the nights closing in, and visibility being reduced.

Take your home security seriously
