A Prestigious Period Property Installation


Although somewhat difficult to see from the images shown, in order to maintain the style and character of the property, this particular installation incorporated 'dummy casements' in order to provide a balanced, equal sightline. The white PVCu windows have an authentic wood grained texture finish along with surface mounted, 'astrigal' Georgian bars thus producing the timeless aesthetic appeal of a traditional painted wood finish.

This retains all the qualities of a modern PVCu window such as energy efficiency, low maintenance and high security but features and elaborates the clean simplicity of a typical PVCu soft white woodgrain finish that will enhance a period property and add also to the character of more modern properties.


More about the White Woodgrain Finish


This was one of those occasions where the modern standard white PVCu finish didn't fit the bill. This was a period property that needed a wood finish while maintaining the energy efficient properties of PVCu. We had just the thing... white woodgrain PVCu frames. This type of window retains all the properties of the modern PVCu window - energy efficient, low maintenance, and high security. To emulate the period windows further white woodgrain georgian bars were attached to complete to look.
