Upvc Windows in West Sussex

uPVC (sometimes also referred to as PVCu) windows are recyclable, low maintenance, quieter and contribute to increased energy efficiency.  These days, uPVC window frames are available in a range of colours, so they can look like aluminium or wood instead of plastic if you want them to.

Window Wise sell the PlatinumNRG uPVC windows in West Sussex that are made locally, are 100% lead-free and conform to the BS7950 standard.  The windows have an ‘A’ BFRC Window Energy Rating and are very secure due to features that include a bi-directional dual roller cam central lock, additional locking points and twin shootbolt locks.

The different types of uPVC windows we sell are:

PlatinumNRG – high performance windows with thermal efficiency provided through the multi chamber profile and ‘Planitherm Total+’ energy efficient glass.  These argon-filled, sealed, uPVC windows are available in various frame combinations and also as sash windows.  There’s a choice of frame colours including a grain effect, glass (textured and clear) and locking handle colours.

PlatinumNRG3 – this is the triple-glazed range where three panes of glass form two insulating layers for extra heat insulation, security and noise reduction.  They look very similar to the standard range with a slim profile but also reflect heat back into a room.  Again there are frame and handle colour choices and glazing choices.

PlatinumNRG Classic – these styles are available for homes with an older character style, but they still use modern materials.  Styles include Georgian, Edwardian, Town House and Country Farmhouse, and each design has a timber effect finish.  The flush-faced sashes sit within the window frames for a sleeker profile, which is sometimes required on homes with planning or environmental restrictions.

PlatinumNRG Revival – this range fetures period timber window styling to faithfully replicate all of the details of traditional wooden windows, such as a working stay and peg and deep sculptured edge.  This range has an 85mm deep frame with seven chambers so that they are still energy efficient.  There are colour and glass choices available as well as alternative handles.

Vertical Sash – vertical sliding sash PVCu windows look traditionally great but also come with the low maintenance level of modern windows…no rotting or rusting!  uPVC sash windows also tilt inwards in addition to the standard up and down open and close. Condensation is reduced (compared to traditional wooden sash windows) and they are safer with multi-lock technology and double toughened glass glazing.

Hopefully our guide has helped you identify the type of uPVC glazing that would suit you and your home best.  If you are looking for uPVC windows in West Sussex, you can request a design appointment for a quote here.
