Here are some of the most common queries we get asked:

What professional accreditations does Window Wise hold?

To ensure we work to the highest standard and to give our customers the utmost confidence in the work we will carry out for them, we are members of a number of professional bodies and also hold relevant accreditations of excellence.

How much does the design service cost?

Professional designs, consultations & quotations are free of charge across all window, door and glazed extensions.

How long is the manufacture to installation process?

We aim to complete projects within a 10 – 12 week time-frame from manufacture to installation lead time.

Are your installations supervised?

Yes. As part of our dedication to excellent customer care, each installation in progress is visited daily by our Installations Manager to ensure it is running smoothly.

What type of payment terms or financing do you offer?

Orders under £12,000.00

35% deposit – 65% balance on completion.

Orders OVER £12,000.00

35% deposit, 35% interim payment due just before we commence the work, 30% balance on  completion.

Orders OVER £20,000.00

35% deposit, 50% interim payment due just before we commence the work, 15% balance on completion.

Conservatories/glazed extensions WITH BASE WORK

25% deposit, 1st interim 35% (on completion of the base work), 2nd interim 35% (due once the construction has been erected, glazed and ‘weathered’ in), 5% balance on completion.

Conservatories/glazed extensions ONTO EXISTING BASE WORK

35% deposit, 35% interim (due just as we commence work on site), 30% balance on completion.

Do you offer any guarantee on the installations you undertake?

Yes. We offer a ten year guarantee on all our installations.

Do I have to do anything to maintain my new windows?

There are steps a homeowner can take to ensure that the life-span of their new windows is maximised, including cleaning and dealing with any minor damage. Our maintenance guide provides full details on the upkeep required for each of our products.

There’s a problem with my new windows/doors/glazed extension - what do I do?

Please give the showroom a call on 01444 457145.

All our work is covered by a 10 year guarantee. We will repair and/or replace any faulty installations or products totally free of charge, subject to our terms and conditions.

Does bad weather affect my installation?

No. We will continue working throughout bad weather on all window and door installations unless the conditions are so severe that it is deemed too dangerous for our installers to continue working.

However — if because of any weather conditions you would prefer to postpone installation work, please let our team know so we can re-book the work in.

Can I leave the property while work is taking place?

Yes, our installers are highly experienced and can be trusted to remain on your property to continue to work while you are not there.

What can I do to make the installation work go smoother, either in preparation beforehand or while the work is being carried out?

Keep pets and children away from the work area/site during the installation for their safety. Also, it is recommended that any valuable items, furniture & cables are moved clear of the work area.
