Action Medical Research Golf Day

This Friday (25 May) sees teams from businesses across the Haywards Heath area take to the fairways for Horsham-based charity Action Medical Research.

Taking place at Piltdown Golf Club, the President’s Charity Golf Day – organised by the Rotary Club of Haywards Heath – the event will help raise funds for a much-needed research project being undertaken by the charity into finding a new way to treat children who experience uncontrollable epilepsy seizures.

The golf tournament, taking place in the morning, sees teams of four tee off against each other over 18 holes, as well contests for ‘nearest the pin’ and ‘longest drive’.

Following the tournament will be a buffet-style lunch, with the day being capped off with a prize-giving ceremony and charity raffle. Prizes include a ticket to an upcoming England international rugby match, afternoon tea at the Birch Hotel, and a free fourball round of golf at Piltdown.

Window Wise is delighted to be supporting the event by sponsoring hole number 8 – a tricky, uphill 395 yard par 4 with a partially blind tee shot!

I recently had my windows replaced by Window Wise. They were highly professional in the lead up to the installation, making sure that I was aware of the progress of the order and who would be completing the installation. Oli and Adam were absolutely amazing. They had a huge amount of experience of replacing windows in Bolnore Village. Excellent communication from start to finish.Tom, Martin, Oli and Adam all had an enthusiasm and knowledgeable approach and I felt in safe hands throughout. I also thought the costs were very reasonable, certainly not the most expensive and not the lowest, but only a small premium up from the lower end. I like that they are Fensa registered too.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough, from the moment of first contact to the aftercare the customer service has been excellent. I’ve had a few jobs done with the house recently and this company were by far the most proficient and professional. Also the installers, Olly and Adam, were excellent in their conduct and a pleasure to have around. Great job.

Finding years worth of birds nests when taking a window out was a shock but not only did they clear up, clean, put the new window in, they boarded up the entrance. Really happy with the work replacing the units in our conservatory. Everything was on time and to a great standard. The fitters were polite and efficient and even rectified quite a significant issue we had with the roof. Very pleased.

Delighted we are with our new windows. From beginning to end, working with window wise has been complete joy. Gavin gave great advice and was so patient (I am quite indecisive!). Quotes were received quickly and rewritten with the same speed as I changed my mind again and again. I was never ever made to feel like a problem. The survey was straightforward. We were kept up to speed with the wait times. Finally, the fitters were outstanding. An absolute pleasure to have in the home! They got on with the job, were attentive to detail and they tidied up at the end of the day. To be honest, I was dreading the upheaval... but needn't have worried at all. There's no doubt ... it is a lot of money BUT totally well worth every penny.
