Duo Composite Doors – North Chailey, East Sussex

A recent project Window Wise undertook for a couple in North Chailey, East Sussex. They had insecure and inefficient front and side doors fitted 8 years ago. The previous installers had fitted single rebated composite doors which had seen better days, offering very little insulation and a real lack of security to the property. So the team were tasked with providing them with safe, reliable and an energy efficient answer that would be individually styled to their specific needs resolving the issues left behind.

We looked at how we could incorporate the couples’ design ideas and desire to help make their home eco-friendly, by installing duo composite doors. The Window Wise DUO range gave them a great selection to choose from; offering a traditional or contemporary style, high level security and locking features along with quality finishes.

The Window Wise Duo Composite Doors use next generation technology; the inner and outer woodgrain effect door skins are bounded to a solid inner framework. The inner core of the door is filled with a CFC free polyuathane foam which serves to provide both rigidity and energy efficiency, thus resulting in a environmentally low-impact home that reduces its carbon footprint and lowers its energy needs.

Our customers selected the Lichfield contemporary design for both the front and side doors, with D-Handle for the front door and an Inline 600mm handle for the side door. We then placed in the Fusion Venetia style windows and finished off the duo composite door with a lovely glossy red paint. The job was completed within the day resulting in a very satisfied couple and great looking doors that ensure the property goes a long way to becoming an eco-home.
