Welcome to the future of glazed extensions

The way glazed extensions are built is changing.

The hup! system from Window Wise is a new, innovative building method that will revolutionise energy efficiency and design possibilities for home extensions.

Recently featured in The Times and the Ideal Home magazine, hup! is becoming a very popular option for homeowners who want to create more space in their home.

This ground-breaking approach uses composite insulated panels in place of traditional brick and block work cavity walls.

We’re delighted to introduce hup! to our customers.

Efficient and inspiring.

If you are considering a new glazed extension, or an upgrade to an existing conservatory, the hup! system offers a beautifully designed, robust and energy efficient option.

You have total flexibility to design the space exactly as you need it. With tailored glazing panels in the roof and walls, you can bring natural light in where it is wanted, creating the perfect balance of usable wall space and outside views.

5 times more energy efficient

hup! glazed extensions are five times more energy efficient than the average UK home.

The combination of the composite panels and performance glass achieves extremely low U-Values of between 0.12 and 0.17. exceeding Building Regulation requirements.

3 simple design steps

Your glazed extension could offer you more space to entertain, a study, a relaxing living room or children’s play area – the hup! approach gives you complete design freedom.

We will help you visualise your design, on budget, without the need for an architect. The design and build will be completed by a single, skilled team.

  1. Windows and doors – begin by deciding where you would like windows and doors, considering garden access and natural light. Choose from French, sliding or bi-fold doors, and windows in any style.
  2. Roof – choose a solid roof for privacy and cosiness, or add skylights and lanterns for natural light where you want it. For maximum light, select a fully glazed roof.
  3. Finish – complete the design with a choice of brickwork finishes, textured renders, or contemporary cedar cladding. You may wish to seamlessly blend your glazed extension with your existing home, or create a statement contrast.

hup! technology explained

Composite insulated panels

hup! composite panels are used in place of traditional brick walls. They combine both timber and steel construction materials with exceptional insulation to achieve their superior energy-efficiency.

The panels clip together with millimetre precision to ensure a perfect build.

Roof options

With a hup! building, you have the choice of a pitched roof, flat roof or lean-to design.

All roof options include lanterns or skylights to flood your glazed extension with natural light where you want it, and provide shade where it’s needed.

Wall finishes

To complete the design of your hup! building, there is a choice of finish for external walls.

Brick finish

The hup! brick mesh system is an alternative to brick and mortar that is quick to install and looks authentic. It is available in red or grey shades, to complement your home.

Contemporary finishes

Timber and render options are also available for a more contemporary or contrasting design.

Performance glazing

Thermo-efficient glazing allows ideal levels of sunlight through the outer pane, so that your home benefits from the sun’s heat.

The inner pane uses an advanced glass coating, which reflects heat back into the room, whilst filtering the more damaging ultra-violet rays and regulating infra-red rays. This technology ensures your home is comfortably warm, but not overheated.

When planning your hup! glazed extension, we can advise you about the best glazing, both for the aspect and how you intend to use your new space.
