What is a composite door?

Are composite doors energy efficient?
The energy efficiency of replacement doors and windows is measured in U-Values, which measure the amount of energy lost.
Double rebate composite doors create a highly effective seal, and are therefore very efficient at insulating. This low U-Value is additionally achieved as this door is 54% thicker than a standard single rebate composite door.

Can composite doors be glazed?
A range of glazing styles are available with composite doors.
A glazed Duo composite door will be installed with 50ml triple glazing as standard. This further enhances its insulating properties, and the noise reduction that is another feature of these substantial doors.
