Stunning aluminium windows for a Crawley school

We were thrilled to be invited back to Handcross Park School in Crawley to work on an exciting project – a beautiful new construction, which was to become their pioneering ‘immersive’ English Department, the Owton Building.

Safe Contractor

Handcross Park School is an independent co-educational preparatory school between Crawley, Horsham and Haywards Heath.

We are lucky enough to have worked with Handcross Park School on several projects, so we were delighted to be involved in this wonderful new building to deliver commercial window replacement in Crawley.

Due to this project being for not only a commercial setting, but for a school, it was paramount that the chosen products were both durable and safe.

At Window Wise, we have been awarded a SafeContractor accreditation, which means that we are highly experienced and competent in managing commercial projects such as this.

Time sensitive

The main challenge in working on this project was ensuring that the school could function without disruption to day to day teaching, therefore time management was key.

We worked closely with the building contractors, along with the school management team, to ensure that our installation of the extensive double glazed windows at this Crawley school was as efficient as possible.

Natural light

Aluminium is inherently durable, low maintenance and incredibly strong, making it the ideal material for Handcross Park School to invest in.

The slim profile of the frames, or sightlines, ensures that plenty of natural light floods into the classrooms.

The flush fit sashes give a sleek, contemporary look. The double glazed sealed units will ensure the building is draught-free and energy efficient.

Anthracite grey

The overall effect of the new aluminium windows is stunning.

They are finished in Anthracite Grey, low maintenance powder coating (RAL7016), which looks great with the timber cladding and roof tiles.
