What you can expect from our installation process
Once you have decided to make home improvements, whether it’s replacement windows, new doors, a bright conservatory or spacious glazed extension, the lead up to the installation can be full of both excitement and apprehension. Having work done at home always means a bit of disruption.
We are proud that around 70% of our new business comes from customer recommendations – and much of this is testament to the care and respect that goes into every installation we undertake.
We want to reassure you about the installation process that you can expect from us.
Before: planning and preparation
At our Haywards Heath showroom, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our team, so you’ll be familiar with us before we visit your property.
The first stage in taking your project forward is to arrange an initial visit to your home.
At this point, we will discuss your plans with you, take preliminary measurements and assess any considerations for the home improvements you want us to undertake. This will inform how we approach the project and enable us to produce your quotation.
When you decide that you are happy to go ahead, one our surveyors will contact you to arrange a visit to take detailed measurements and conduct a full site survey, as well as run through your project with you.
Depending on the type of project and whether planning consent is required, we will support you with these requirements, and if relevant, ensure that building regulations are adhered to. Read more about the various legal requirements when making home improvements.

During: installation and site management
On the day that your installation is booked to start, we will arrive punctually with everything that’s required to commence work.
Our installation team are friendly and professional. They will explain how the work will be approached, and answer any of your questions.
The team will take time to prepare the site to minimise any temporary mess and disruption, and to protect your home and décor where needed.
All our installations are conducted within a safe and well-managed site. As a business, we hold several industry accreditations that underpin our care, experience and expertise; we may therefore ask you to ensure that young children and pets are kept away from the work site for their safety.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a well-organised site, and we always leave the area clean and tidy at the end of every working day.
At the end of the job, we will leave everything as immaculate as possible for you.

We will keep you informed throughout the installation, especially with larger projects that take place over several days or weeks, so that you will have confidence that the project is on track.
