We were thrilled to have the opportunity to transform our discerning customers’ East Sussex home, near Danehill, by giving them a truly stunning new orangery.
We’d already had the pleasure of working on our customers’ home in both 2004 and 2014 to install replacement windows.
It was a wonderful opportunity to be invited back to design and install an orangery that would not only look beautiful, it would offer so much to enhance their day to day living too.
The new orangery would replace an old timber conservatory that had become tired aesthetically, and didn’t offer our customers adequate insulation, a comfortable combination of light and shade, or the additional living space they wanted.
The configuration of the new orangery includes a PVCu door to the side, opening onto a secluded patio, along with PVCu French doors opening onto the main garden – giving our customers different options for bringing the outside in.
The new orangery needed to offer a multi-functional living space – somewhere for dining and entertaining, but also somewhere to relax and take in the garden views.
Modern orangeries are designed with year-round comfort in mind.
Exceptional insulation combined with climate control glass means that a new orangery can truly be a room for all seasons.
Our customers wanted their orangery to provide a natural extension to their existing home – they are delighted with the seamless feel that has been achieved.
The central dining table sits perfectly under the elegant lantern roof, whilst allowing plenty of space to relax on the sofa.
The occasional chairs along with the bar to the side make it the ideal space for entertaining friends and family.
The roof of this expansive orangery is the Ultraframe Flat Roof with a beautiful, central Ultrasky glazed roof lantern.
This combination gives that all important feeling of a substantial extension to your home, courtesy of the flat roof.
Whereas, the spectacular roof lantern not only allows natural light to flood in, its height gives a feeling of grandeur and space.
When seen from above, it’s possible to appreciate the sheer scale and elegance of the roof lantern.
We are always happy to meet the high standards of our customers – we know how important it is to get every aspect right. Not only is an orangery an investment in your home, it is something that will really transform the way you live.
This orangery was an ambitious installation, and there were important considerations concerning its aspect – to ensure the balance of light and shade was just right.
The configuration of windows and doors was designed to give the required access to outside space, whilst ensuring the internal space functioned well for living, entertaining, and to incorporate furnishings for comfort, style and ambiance.
When it comes to finish, our attention to detail sets us apart.
The finish on the insulated pelmets and stepped cornices is not only aesthetically pleasing, it ensures this orangery is energy efficient and weatherproof.
Above all, our orangeries, conservatories and glazed extensions are built to withstand the test of time, and stay looking beautiful for many years to come.
We are thrilled to report that our customers were “very impressed” with every aspect of their new orangery, and the work that our meticulous installation team undertook at their home.
Our video really brings this stunning project to life, and demonstrates the enhancement it has made to this East Sussex property.
We know that we have designed and installed an orangery that achieves many benefits for its owners:
The structure itself is energy efficient, draughtproof and secure. The robust build and high quality materials mean that it will look wonderful for years to come.
However, more than anything, it has improved day to day life for our customers, who are looking forward to many occasions shared with family and friends.
