As we rapidly head towards the end of another year, it’s a good to time to reflect as well as look forward and plan for the New Year ahead.
For Window Wise, 2025 has had its unpredictable and challenging moments, but throughout the year we have experienced constant demand with a high number of enquiries and orders that have kept us extremely busy. So, we are grateful as always to our loyal customers and to the wonderful businesses that we work alongside.
The slower housing market conditions have undoubtedly resulted in many homeowners opting to improve their homes rather than moving.
We have seen a significant increase in interest and demand for aluminium windows and doors. Although our range of cost-effective PVCu options, including our sliding sash range, are ever popular. The huge choice of colour options that’s now available is something that many of our customers are also inspired by.
We want to help you to make the right choices for your home’s style, your budget and for the long-term energy efficiency of your home.
This year, our informative blog articles have included our buyers guide to PVCu windows and our article explaining the unique attributes of aluminium vs steel windows and the benefits they bring for homes of different styles and periods.

This year, we have undertaken a number of glazed extensions.
By incorporating part solid, part glazed roofs, these home extensions provide greatly improved insulation and energy efficiency, an additional room extension that can be used comfortably throughout the year.

Following the launch of our range of Heritage aluminium windows and doors at the end of 2024, we were delighted to launch our bevelled sash aluminium windows early in 2025.
This new range is designed to replicate the appearance of traditional timber windows. Therefore, it’s often suited to character and period properties.
With a very slimline appearance the frame of these windows is ‘bevelled’, meaning that it is champhered to meet the glazing, creating the appearance imitation of the putty line that you’d see on timber frames.

We always love to share the details and photographs of some of the home and business renovations that we’ve had the pleasure of working on, and this year was no different.
Back in February, we shared the details of the huge project we were involved with at Handcross Park School in Crawley. We installed stunning, slimline aluminium windows that would allow natural light to flood into their new ‘immersive’ English Department, the Owton Building.

Fittingly, in mid-summer, we shared the details of a beautiful new orangery that we installed for existing customers in Danehill, East Sussex.
This lovely, spacious orangery not only offers a wonderful addition to their living space, it provides the connection to the garden that was so important to our customers.

In September, we were thrilled to share the stunning photographs of a remarkable new-build home in Henfield, West Sussex.
The black aluminium windows provided sleek, contemporary lines with large areas of glazing that made the most of the spectacular views.
This was an exciting project to be involved with – moving large expanses of architectural windows into place gave ample opportunity to exercise our problem-solving skills!
